The Denial Management Counseling (DMC) Facilitator Guide is a “how to” for counselors and therapists that are working with a client to complete the DMC Process utilizing the updated and revised DMC Workbook. The Guide works to increase the facilitator's ability to recognize when treatment resistance and denial are sabotaging clients and shows how to effectively assist clients in getting the most out of completing the DMC Workbook process. The Gorski-CENAPS© DMC series includes the DMC Facilitator Guide, the DMC Professional Guide, also used by therapists around the world to learn how to apply denial management skills with their clients, and the DMC Workbook, which has been widely used by recovering people and addiction therapists to increase success in recovery. The DMC Facilitator Guide was developed to assist professionals in earning their credentials as a Gorski-CENAPS Certified Denial Management Specialist (CDMS).
