Part 1: Mind-Altering Substances - This part of the series takes a hard look at the mind-altering substances that can activate abuse or addiction. Mind-altering substances are chemical agents that alter brain chemistry in a way that changes how we think, how we feel, how we act, and how we relate to other people.
Part 2: Addictive Risk Factors - This part if the series explores addictive risk factors and high-risk people, people who are more likely than others to abuse and get addicted to mind-altering substances.
Part 3: Substance Abuse and Addiction - This part if the series explores the problems that people have with alcohol and other drugs.
